Hot summer? Cold noodles.

As a species, we love summer. It is also unbearably hot and humid for the majority of us, and we tend to spend more money on take out because it becomes “too hot to cook”.

Enter cold noodles.

Delicious, light and easy to make, cold noodles make a perfect meal for any time of day. The Kitchn hosts some great examples, but it’s hard to beat the classic peanut and sesame version. You probably have most of the ingredients in your pantry already. If not, they’re typically very simple ingredients that you can find at most supermarkets.

If you can boil water, you can easily prep a week’s worth of these for lunch - if they last that long.
